Recent Examples of our Corporate Practice

• Our corporate team has worked on some of the largest local transactions including the sale of a well-known hotel, a sale of roughly EUR 20 million. Our firm handled the negotiations for the conclusion of the contract of sale of the hotel and the right of use agreement pending the transfer of title to the hotel by the Receivers/Managers to the new buyers.

• Another example of our corporate work is the recent successful conclusion of a cross border merger between a Cyprus company as the disappearing company and a Dutch company as the absorbing company.

• We were recently instructed to handle the local corporate aspects of a London acquisition worth GBP 100 million. The transaction involved the acquisition of two leasehold properties in London. The obligation of the buyer to pay the agreed consideration was secured by way of two Cyprus share pledges and our firm has overseen the transaction from the beginning to the end, including the drafting of share pledges and all receivables and registering of the same with the Registrar of Companies.
